    Kemess South

    Kemess South is located in north-central BC, 430 kilometres northwest of Prince George. The Kemess South complex consists of an open-pit mine, a 52,000 tonnes per day mill and various ancillary support facilities, including maintenance shops and housing for Kemess' roughly 400 full-time employees. It is owned and operated by Northgate Minerals Corporation.
